After 6 months took place, the 8th Vietnam Travel Photography Contest with the main theme “I love Vietnam” has chosen the most impressive photos and hold a public exhibition in Hanoi from July 05th 2019.
“Colors of the Sea” won the first prize of Vietnam Travel Photography Contest

After 7 previous successful contests in last years, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism continued maintaining this Contest in 2019. It is one in the chain of important activities celebrating 58 years Foundation of Vietnam Tourism (July 09th 1960 – July 09th 2019).
This Contest is held from January to June, which has been received 16,370 photos in total then chose 11 best ones for awarding. Multiple scenic landscapes, colourful festivals and tourism’s activities from all over Vietnam have been captured through beautiful photos in which about Hanoi take a great majority.

The first prize is belonged to “Colors of the Sea” taken by Mr Tran Bao Hoa, which is caught in the sunset and shown the colourful beauty of marine life in Yen Islet, a pristine islet in Phu Yen Province.

Two-second prizes have been awarded to two pictures showing the spectacular moment of light in NorthWest Vietnam.

One of the third ones is belonged to Mr Tran Anh Tuan with “Fly up, Vietnam!”. He happily shares about his spiritual son: “To have a great photo, sometimes you even need a little luck. I chose the most suitable angle and wait until my main character- paragliders come to my own frame, and click right at the golden moment, that’s it!”

Some other pics winning the third prizes as well are “Elephant race in Lak lake” taken by Mr Nguyen Ngoc Hoa, “Tien Cave’s Stalagmites” by Mr Le Duc Dat.
Besides, there are so many other outstanding photos not only demonstrating beautiful moments of life but also proving Vietnam’s endless charm, which varies from “Love Season” by Mr Le Thai Duong, which is taken in Mekong Delta where is famous for huge flat rice paddy fields….

… peaceful moment of “Langur Family” by Mr Ha Phuoc Thanh…

… to idyllic daily life in Northern countryside conveyed through “Summer’s afternoon” by Mr Tran Quoc Loc.

… or “Where happiness began” by Mr Tran Cao Bao Long with beautiful sandhills from Binh Thuan Province.

Vietnam Travel Photography Contest’s Exhibition will last until July 11th, which is displayed in Hoan Kiem Lake for free.
